... get fitter, eat healthier, drink less, have fun with the kids...DAY 1

  • Get Fitter
Not exactly the high impact exercise I intended to start with but we took the cherubs and hound for a walk along the promenade at the beach!

Just managed 8 girl press ups and 36 bicycle crunches! Crap indeed, practice makes perfect tho! Maybe tomorrow night I'll go crazy and through in some lunges/squats...


  • Eat Healthier
Didn't actually eat a lot (part of reason/excuse for little exercise). Had two biscuits and some crisps, hardly healthy but lack of alcohol meant I was allowed a food treat (crap logic).

Back to work tomorrow so more structured eating will make things easier.


  • Drink Less Alcohol
No alcohol has been consumed.

If I can do this then I can do anything! Detox starts today! No more booze till Mum arrives!


  • Have Fun With The Kids
Today's fun involved taking down the Christmas tree, chasing bubbles from the bubble machine, Archie getting his first shot in the little tikes car, scooter fun along the promenade for Maisie, fresh new bed linen for Maisie, hanging out washing!

Amazing how if said in an enthusiastic way how the suggestion of new bed sheets/hanging out washing/putting away christmas decorations can be so thrilling to a 3 year old!
